On November 16th, the Hong Kong China Network Security Association (HKCNSA) visited the Lifelong Education College at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) for in-depth discussions with Vice Dean Chen Meng, Director Ye Yan, and Director Li Tingwei. Mr. David Ip, the founding chairman of the association, engaged in discussions with representatives from SJTU on topics including cybersecurity technologies, policies, and talent cultivations, aiming to jointly promote the development of cybersecurity and ensure its stability.
Firstly, Mr. David Ip, as the representative of the HKCNSA, introduced the background and mission of the association to the guests. He pointed out that the association is committed to promoting exchanges and cooperation in the field of cybersecurity between China and Hong Kong, with the goal of building a healthy, secure, and reliable network environment. He also emphasized the importance of cybersecurity in modern society and called for joint efforts to address cybersecurity challenges.
Subsequently, Director Ye Yan detailed the academic construction, research achievements, and talent cultivation in various fields at the Lifelong Education College at SJTU. She stated that the school has an excellent faculty and a comprehensive disciplinary system, dedicated to providing high-quality educational services to its members.
This exchange event has laid a solid foundation for cooperation between the Lifelong Education College at SJTU and the HKCNSA. Both parties expressed their intention to use this exchange as an opportunity to further strengthen communication, deepen cooperation, expand collaboration areas, and jointly promote the development and innovation of the cybersecurity industry.
