On March 12th, Hong Kong China Network Security Association (HKCNSA) visited the Innovation, Technology and lndustry Bureau (ITIB) to discuss new developments in network security. The delegation engaged in in-depth discussions with Ms. Lillian Cheong, Under Secretary for ITIB, Mr. Eric Chan, Chief Public Mission Officer of Cyberport, and Mr. Gordon Cheung, Assistant Secretary for ITIB (New Industry). Led by Chairman Mr. David Ip, several vice chairmen of HKCNSA attended the exchange, where important topics such as the development of cybersecurity in the Hong Kong market, talent cultivation, support for small and medium-sized enterprises, and the introduction of mainland Chinese companies were explored.
Through this exchange, HKCNSA gained a better understanding of the needs and challenges for cybersecurity development in the Hong Kong market, enabling them to provide recommendations and strategies for the future development of the industry.
