On February 14, 2025, the "Cybersecurity Awareness Seminar: Survival Guide for Enterprises Facing Hacker Attacks," organized by Ricoh, a corporate member of the Hong Kong China Network Security Association (HKCNSA), in collaboration with LPC Insurance Brokers Limited and Blackpanda, was successfully held. The event aimed to provide comprehensive cybersecurity solutions for enterprises. Mr. David Ip, the founding chairman of HKCNSA, was invited to attend and discuss the importance of cybersecurity and response strategies with industry experts.

As an expert in IT assessment and network health checks, Ricoh detailed how comprehensive checks can help enterprises identify and fix network vulnerabilities, reducing the risk of attacks. LPC Insurance Brokers Limited provided information on insurance and claims services from an insurance perspective, helping enterprises mitigate economic losses caused by cyberattacks. Blackpanda, a disaster recovery expert, shared several successful cases of rapid business recovery operations, offering practical disaster response solutions.

The event brought together numerous government officials and industry experts to share the latest trends in cybercrime and response strategies. Additionally, representatives from the renowned law firm Clyde & Co shared practical experiences in handling personal data and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), ensuring that enterprises can operate in compliance while avoiding legal risks caused by data breaches. The seminar provided attendees with rich cybersecurity knowledge, promoting exchanges and cooperation between experts and enterprises, helping businesses better protect their interests and ensure continuous and stable operations in the face of increasing cyber threats.
