On October 5th, the enterprise technology event HPE Discover More Hong Kong 2023 was held at the Hong Kong Ocean Park Marriott Hotel. The conference focused on areas such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, and data analytics, providing a platform for communication and learning for businesses and industry leaders. Representatives from Hong Kong China Network Security Association (HKCNSA), Mr. David Ip, Mr. Dicky Wong, and Mr. Wilson Tang attended the conference together with experts from various fields to explore the latest trends, best practices, and innovations in the digital era.
Dr. Gabriel Leung, Managing Director of HPE Hong Kong and Macau, delivered a speech at the HPE Discover More 2023 conference. He mentioned that HPE provides new architecture solutions for effective large-scale training of large AI models, including model deployment, global data platforms, and AI-optimized computing. By utilizing sustainable supercomputing platforms, enterprises can quickly train, fine-tune, and deploy large language models and perform real-time personalized data analysis using internal data.
Mr. Vincent Kwok, Deputy Managing Director of HPE Hong Kong and Macau, delivered a speech at the conference, highlighting that AI applications are becoming increasingly widespread but have also raised a series of issues, such as AI being used for generating fake news, misinformation, or cybercrime. Therefore, the global technology community not only needs to focus on the development of AI but also emphasize responsible and trustworthy AI.
In the future, HKCNSA will strive to strengthen cooperation and communication within and outside the industry, jointly address cybersecurity challenges, and build a more secure and reliable network environment.
