HKCNSA attended the "China Macro Economy and Greater Bay Area Integration" Forum on Sep 4th

On September 4th, the "China Macroeconomy and Greater Bay Area Integration" Forum 2023, marking the 85th anniversary of Sing Tao, was successfully held in Hong Kong. This forum is co organized by Qi'anxin Technology Group Co., Ltd., with the theme of "China's Macroeconomy and Greater Bay Area Integration", to hold a national economic summit forum. Mr. David Ip, President of the HK China Network Security Association , and Mr. Dicky Wong, Advisor Member and Director of the Science and Technology Department of the New World Development Company Limited, are honored to be invited to attend this forum to discuss the role of cybersecurity in promoting China's macroeconomic development and the integration of the Greater Bay Area with many industry leaders, in order to promote the coordinated development of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area economy and build an international first-class bay area that is livable, suitable for business, and suitable for tourism.

During his opening speech at the forum, Mr. John Lee, the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, stated that the Hong Kong government will fully support Hong Kong's integration into the national development and contribute to the construction of the Greater Bay Area in the fields of finance, trade, shipping, and professional services. Efforts will be made to establish the Greater Bay Area as an international center for scientific and technological innovation, attracting global innovative talents.

Mr. Qi Xiang-Dong, Chairman of Qianxin Group, delivered a speech at the forum, highlighting the importance of safeguarding cybersecurity while promoting digitization. He pointed out three major challenges in data security, including non-compliant data practices, administrators and technicians becoming targets of hacking, and potential vulnerabilities in software supply chains. Mr. Qi put forward corresponding guidance and suggestions to address these challenges. He also expressed concerns about the potential threats of artificial intelligence technology in the security field.


In the future development, HKCNSA will continue to promote the innovation and application of cybersecurity technology, actively participate in the construction of the digital economy in the Greater Bay Area, and contribute to the establishment of a secure and trustworthy cyberspace environment.
