CCS 2024 Chengdu Cybersecurity Series Event officially Opened: Hong Kong China Network Security Association Invited to Witness Cybersecurity Summit

On the morning of September 11th, the CCS 2024 Chengdu Cybersecurity Series Event (hereinafter referred to as "CCS 2024") with the theme of "Myriad Scenes AI, Security Reborn" officially kicked off, focusing on new issues in the field of network security in the AI era. Through technical exchanges, interactive experiences, professional competitions and other forms, it deepened the popularization of network security knowledge and skills, and jointly built a network security defense line.



As a professional cybersecurity platform connecting China, Hong Kong, and Macau, the HKCNSA was honored to be invited to participate in this prestigious event. The Founding Chairman of HKCNSA, Mr. David Ip, Vice Presidents Mr. Michael Cheung, and Ms. Chandy Ye, attended as invited guests, observing and learning at the CCS 2024 venue, discussing the new landscape of cybersecurity with top security enterprises, and jointly witnessing this pinnacle cybersecurity summit.

This event gathered elites from multiple major companies in the field of network security, among whom 360 Digital Security Group, a member of the association, served as a strategic partner to participate. In addition, well-known network security companies such as Baidu Security, Winicssec, Xiaomi Security Center, and Chengdu Lian'an Technology Co., Ltd  also served as important partners and gathered at the event site.




Before the commencement of the event, HKCNSA members visited the company booths, learning from these advanced cybersecurity enterprises. They gathered with renowned representatives from the information security industry, experts, and scholars from Chengdu, Hong Kong and Macau, engaging in profound discussions centered on new technologies, applications, and challenges in cybersecurity. Together, they explored the development of cybersecurity under the new circumstances and shared the latest developments and trends in the field.




The opening ceremony kicked off with intelligent information output from a virtual robot's perspective and honored the winners of the  4th  Adult & Teen Challenge as well as 25 enterprises in Chengdu providing network and data security technology services. This event holds significant demonstrative value in promoting the high-quality development of cybersecurity talents and the industry.




The event also invited government representatives, business leaders, scholars, frontline practitioners, and guests from various sectors to deliver keynote speeches on cybersecurity, encompassing various dimensions such as cybersecurity strategies, technological innovation, legal compliance, talent cultivation, and practical cases. By listening to these insightful sharings, participants from the association deepened their comprehensive understanding of the cybersecurity landscape and sparked further reflections on how to achieve sustainable development in this field.



In addition to the opening ceremony, CCS2024 will simultaneously host multiple innovative seminars and technical exchange activities. Notably, several enterprise member representatives from the association will serve as keynote speakers, joining hands with authoritative experts, scholars, and industry leaders to jointly chart a new blueprint for the development of cybersecurity.



As a key representative in the field of cybersecurity in Hong Kong, Hong Kong China Network Security Association will actively participate in CCS2024, hoping to seize this opportunity to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with cybersecurity enterprises worldwide, jointly driving the innovation and development of national cybersecurity technologies.
